(1) Replace every two years, in any case.
(2) Check for proper tightening of the following safety parts;
- Engine-to-frame screw fixing nut
- Front wheel nut
- Rear wheel RH and LH nut
- Steering head screws
- Bottom yoke screws
- Handlebars screw
- Handlebars clamp fastening screw
- Fork pinch bolts
- Frame-to-shock absorber screw
- Swingarm pivot shaft screw
- Oil pipe connector on cooler
- Oil pipe connector on casing
- Front brake caliper screw
- Front brake disc screw
- Rear brake caliper screw
- Rear brake disc screw
- Rear brake screw
- Driving pins screw
- Fairing fixing nuts
if improperly tightened, please refer to torque setting tables (Sect. C 3).
(3) Test the following parts:
- Wheel hub bearings
- Rear wheel flexible coupling
- Sprocket retaining plate
- Centre and side stand
- Cooler electric fan
- Indicators and lighting devices
