3 VMA Mode
3.2 Custom OFDM Measurement
Type
Lets you specify the type of one resource allocation: Data, Pilot, Preamble, Unknown
Pilot, Zero, Unspecified.
Active Layer
Lets you specify the layer of the resource allocation in MIMO mode.
Symbol Index
Lets you specify the time range of one resource allocation in terms of the OFDM
symbol.
Subcarriers Index
Lets you specify the frequency range of one resource allocation in terms of the
OFDM sub carrier.
Modulation
Specify the modulation type of one resource allocation: BPSK to 4096QAM.
Boost Level
Lets you specify the boost level of one modulation type. When the resource type is
Unknown Pilot, it specifies the boost level for the Unknown Pilot, regardless of the
modulation type.
NOTE
If multiple allocations have the same modulation type, the boost level is the same.
If the modulation type is Auto, the boost level is blank.
If the resource type is Pilot or Preamble, the boost level is blank. It can be
determined by Pilot or Preamble IQ values.
All Unknown Pilot resources share the same boost level.
Resource Mapping values (Remote Command Only)
Specifies the type of each “resource” (each used subcarrier and symbol time). 0 =
Data, 1 = Pilot, 2 = Unknown Pilot, 3 = Preamble, 4 = Null, 5 = Unspecified.
NOTE
The resource map information set through this command is not visible/editable
under Meas Setup, Demod, Demod Settings, Resource Mapping.
