Service Parts Disassembly
Registration Roller Assembly (PL4.2.1)
Caution
After removal of the Imaging Unit, protect the Developer Assemblies by
covering the rollers with a sheet of paper or other similar technique.
1. Open Door A.
2. Remove the Imaging Unit.
3. Remove 4 screws (self-tapping, plastic 10 mm) that secure the
Registration Roller Assembly.
4. Disconnect the two connectors connected to Registration Roller
Assembly.
5. Move the Registration Roller Assembly to the left and lift it up to remove.
Replacement Note
Insert the Registration Clutch into the opening first. Lower the
opposite end as the clutches mesh with the gears. Carefully re-route
the sensor harnesses through the bottom harness guides to prevent
damage to the wiring or Imaging Unit seating errors.
