Error Messages and Codes
[Y] [M] [C] [K] Toner Cartridge Failure
A CRUM error has occurred for the indicated Toner Cartridge.
Applicable Status Codes:
Code 86: Cyan Toner Cartridge Failure
Code 87: Magenta Toner Cartridge Failure
Code 88: Yellow Toner Cartridge Failure
Code 89: Black Toner Cartridge Failure
Initial Actions:
■ Check that the Toner Cartridges are fully seated and locked into position.
■ Check that the Toner Cartridges are appropriate for the model.
■ Check that all ribbon tape has been removed from the cartridges and
cycle printer power.
■ If the problem persists, follow the procedure below.
