Inverter Unit Interface Failure
A communication error has occurred in the Finisher Inverter.
Applicable Status Code:
Code U51: Inverter Unit Interface Failure.
Initial Actions:
■ Reseat the Finisher connections.
■ Cycle the printer's power.
■ If the problem persists follow the procedure below.

continuity.
Disconnect OPTIF from the Engine Control
Board and Option connector.
Is the harness conductive?
Replace the Inverter
Control Board. If the
error persists,
replace the Engine
Control Board

Replace the
OPTIF Harness.
