Duplex Unit
The Duplex Unit adds two-sided printing. The Duplex Unit is inserted into the
printer’s left side just below the Side Output Tray. Electrical connection is made by an
interface connector located inside the Duplex Unit cavity.
Finisher
The Finisher increases the output capacity of the printer by 1,000 sheets. Printer
output is directed to the Finisher by way of the side exit. Depending on the job
specifications, as paper enters the Finisher it can be punched, stapled, offset and
stacked depending on customer driver selections or Control Panel settings. The
Finisher’s Inverter is used to flip the media over. Control signals reach the Finisher
through a single connector.
