Phaser 7400 Operational Overview
The Phaser 7400 Color Printer is a full-color LED printer using electrophotographic
recording principals to place a full color image onto the print media. The system, as it
appears in the following illustration, contains four Imaging Units comprised of a
drum and developing unit for each color Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK),
and uses a Transfer Unit to transfer the toner image of each color onto print media
producing full-color prints.
The figure below illustrates the relative position of components involved in the
printing process.
