Close Right Door C for Tray [3][4][5][6]
The Door C Detect Sensor for one of the option trays indicates that Door C is open.
Initial Actions:
■ Ensure that the door is free of obstructions and fully closed.
■ Verify that the Detect Sensor Actuator molded into the Door is not damaged.
■ Cycle printer power.
■ If the problem persists, follow the procedure below.

Is there +0 V at OPTIF-7 when the door is
closed?

Check for +0V on the FFSNS connector of
the Option Control Board.
Is there +0 V at FFSNS-8 when the door is
closed?
Replace the Option
Control Board.
If the wiring from

sensor is OK,
replace the sensor.
