Door B Detect Sensor
The Door B Detect Sensor is mounted on a carrier located beneath the Registration
Rollers near the clutch.
Caution
Use care when removing the roller shaft bearings. The bearings use a small clip
to lock into a notch near the end of each roller shaft. Use a small, flat-bladed
screwdriver to release the clip from the shaft before attempting to remove the
bearing.
1. Remove the Tray 2 Feeder (page 8-38).
2. Remove the Registration Clutch #2 (page 8-42).
3. Remove the 2 springs that tension the Registration Rollers.
4. Remove the bearings at each end of the rubber roller, and then remove the roller.
