To display the test results for the TDR cable diagnostics, use the show cable-diagnostics tdr command.
show cable-diagnostics tdr {interface {interface interface-number}}
Note This command will be deprecated in future Cisco IOS releases; use the diagnostic start command
instead.

Usage Guidelines The TDR test is supported on Catalyst 4500 Series Switches running Cisco IOS Release 12.2(25)SG for
the following line cards only:
• WS-X4548-GB-RJ45
• WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V
• WS-X4524-GB-RJ45V
• WS-X4013+TS
• WS-C4948
• WS-C4948-10GE
The distance to the fault is displayed in meters (m).
Examples This example shows how to display information about the TDR test:
