Locate the closing shim (9) to the
valve stem (21) with the larger
diameter facing the rocker arm.
Fit the two collets (8) around the stem
of the exhaust valve (21).
Remove the screwdriver and place
the closing rocker arm (5) in the rest
position.
With the valve in the rest position,
push on the rocker arm to counteract
return spring action and check
clearance between rocker arm sliding
shoe and closing shim (Sect. N 4.1).
If clearance is outside the specified
limit, adjust valve clearance
(Sect. N.4.1).
Perform the same operations on the
inlet side. Fit the closing shims (9) to
the stems of the inlet valves (19) and
then fit the collets (8).
Remove the screwdriver and return
the closing rocker arms (5) to rest
position.
Finally, make sure that the clearance
between the faces of the rocker arms
and the closing shims is as specified
(Section N 4.1).
Inserire nello stelo valvola scarico (21)
il registro di chiusura (9) con il lato di
diametro maggiore rivolto verso il
bilanciere.
Posizionare i due semianelli (8) di
fermo sullo stelo valvola scarico (21).
Rimuovere il cacciavite e posizionare
il bilanciere di chiusura (5) in posizione
di riposo.
Con la valvola in condizione di riposo
e contrastando la forza della molla di
ritorno spingere sul bilanciere e
verificare che il gioco che tra pattino
del bilanciere e registro di chiusura sia
quello prescritto (Sez. N 4.1).
In caso contrario eseguire la
registrazione gioco valvola (Sez. N
4.1).
Eseguire le medesime operazioni sul
lato aspirazione; inserire il registro di
chiusura (9) sugli steli della valvola
aspirazione (19) e successivamente i
semianelli (8).
Rimuovere il cacciavite e posizionare i
bliancieri di chiusura (5) in posizione di
riposo.
Infine verificare il gioco tra i pattini del
bilanciere di chiusura e registro di
registro di chisura sia quello prescitto
(Sez. N 4.1).
