REP 1.14 Power Switch Replacement- DFA Configurations only
Use this procedure to remove and install the Power Switch (Rocker
Switch, MP-2500IX).
Removal Procedure
WARNING
Do not perform repair activities with the power on or electrical power
supplied to the machine. Some machine components contain
dangerous electrical voltages that can result in electrical shock and
possible serious injury. See Section 0, page vi for other languages.
1. Press the Power switch to OFF position.
2. Disconnect the Power Cord.
3. Open the Front Door.
4. Remove the Screws (2) and the Switch Bracket.
5. Note the connections on the back of the Switch.
6. Press the Tabs and remove the Switch.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the Switch in the Bracket
2. Insert the Connectors.
3. Place the Bracket in position and tighten the Screws (2).
4. Close the Front Door.
5. Connect the Power Cord.
6. Power ON the entire printing system.
