REP 3.14 Die Lock Shaft Replacement

Use this procedure to remove and install the Die Lock Shaft.
Removal Procedure
WARNING
Do not perform repair activities with the power on or electrical power
supplied to the machine. Some machine components contain
dangerous electrical voltages that can result in electrical shock and
possible serious injury. See Section 0, page vi for other languages.
1. Remove the Die Set (see Operator Manual).
2. Switch power OFF to entire printing system.
3. Disconnect the Power Cord.
4. Do REP 1.6 to remove the Rear Cover.
5. Remove the Phillips Screw and the Die Stop Handle.
6. Do REP 3.1 to remove the Punch Module.
7. Remove the Shoulder Screw from the hole in the Shaft at the rear of
the Punch Module.
8. Remove the Socket Head Cap Screw and Split Lock Washer from the
Cam and the Shaft at the rear of the Punch Module.
9. Remove the Socket Head Cap Screw and Split Lock Washer from the
Cam and the Shaft at the front of the Punch Module.
