Function:
Enables periodical supplicant authentication; the “no dot1x re-authentication” command disables
this function.
Command mode:
Global Mode.
Default:
Periodical re-authentication is disabled by default.
Usage Guide:
When periodical re-authentication for supplicant is enabled, the switch will re-authenticate the
supplicant at regular interval. This function is not recommended for common use.

48.20 dot1x timeout quiet-period
Command:
dot1x timeout quiet-period <seconds>
no dot1x timeout quiet-period
Function:
Sets time to keep silent on supplicant authentication failure; the “no dot1x timeout quiet-period”
command restores the default value.
Parameters:
<seconds> is the silent time for the port in seconds, the valid range is 1 to 65535.
