6 Prepare instrument. A. Level the instrument
and aim the instrument
in face2 to the
collimators cross-hairs.
B. Click Holding mode
ON, see Fig. 6-190 on
page 6-186 .
C. Remove filter holder
on the collimator and
mount the collimator
adjustment cap, see
Fig. 6-188 on page 6-
184 .
D. Click Laser pointer
ON,
see Fig. 6-190 on page
6-186 .
E. Align the laser pointer
vertically to the lower
hole on the cap by
adjusting the height
with the tribrach
footscrews.
F. Click Laser pointer
OFF,
G. Remove collimator
adjustment cap and
mount the filter holder.
Only vertical
alignment of
laser pointer to
adjustment cap
is necessary.
Reason for using the
Collimator adjustment
cap
tool is to position
the TLR pointer/
optical axis in correct
height into
collimator.
