7.1.5.6 Connecting the cables

Ê Connect the following cables to the SAS/SATA backplane:
– (1) power cable to connector J4
– (2) SGPIO cable to connector J2
– (3)-(6) SAS/SATA data cables to connectors SATA1, SATA2, SATA3,
SATA4 according the color coding
For the cable plan see section "Cabling" on page 462.
7.1.5.7 Concluding steps
Ê Perform the following procedures:
1. Insert all HDD/SSD modules, see section "Installing the 2.5-inch
HDD/SSD module" on page 148.
I Make sure that you reinstall the HDD/SSD module in the bay it
was located before the SAS/SATA backplane replacement.
