15.3.3.1 Required tools
Preliminary and concluding steps: Phillips PH2 / (+) No. 2 screw driver
Removing the system board:
Phillips PH2 / (+) No. 2 screw driver
Replacing the TPM:
Bit screw driver
TPM bit insert (*)
Thin slotted screw driver (2 x 0.4 mm) (*)
(*) For the Japanese market:
Dedicated TPM screw driver (CWZ8291A)
TPM module fixing tool (S26361-F3552-L909)
15.3.3.2 Preliminary steps
Ê Perform the following procedures:
1. "Opening the rack door" on page 59
2. "Locating the defective server" on page 55
3. "Disabling BitLocker functionality" on page 75
4. "Shutting down the server" on page 59
5. "Extending/removing the server from the rack" on page 60
6. "Opening the server" on page 64
7. "Removing the system board" on page 378
15.3.3.3 Removing the TPM
Ê Remove the TPM as described in section "Removing the TPM" on page 367.
Ê Leave the TPM spacer on the system board when removing the defective
TPM.
