11.3.4 Removing the air duct
Ê Remove the air duct as described in section "Removing the air duct" on
page 282.
11.3.5 Removing the defective heat sink
Ê Remove the heat sink as described in section "Removing the heat sink" on
page 283.
11.3.6 Cleaning the processor surface
Ê Remove the residual thermal paste from the processor surface.
Ê Clean the processor surface using a lint-free cloth.
11.3.7 Removing the protective cover from the new heat
sink
Ê Remove the protective cover on the underside of the heat sink.
V CAUTION!
Do not touch the thermal paste on the underside of the heat sink.
11.3.8 Installing the new heat sink
Ê Install the heat sink as described in section "Installing the heat sink" on
page 290.
11.3.9 Installing the air duct
Ê Install the air duct as described in section "Installing the air duct" on
page 291.
