Ê Perform the following procedures:
1. "Opening the rack door" on page 59
2. "Locating the defective server" on page 55
3. "Shutting down the server" on page 59
4. "Extending/removing the server from the rack" on page 60
5. "Opening the server" on page 64
15.1.1.3 Replacing the defective lithium battery

Ê Press the locking spring into direction of the arrow (1), so that the lithium
battery jumps out of its socket.
Ê Remove the battery (2).
V CAUTION!
Sharp tools such as screw drivers might damage system board
components in case of slipping.
If the battery cannot be ejected without the help of a tool, it is
recommended to use a tooth pick.
Ê Insert a new lithium battery of the same type into the socket (3) and (4).
