CSIP Level 1 Installation: Connectivity Information
Report Printers
The system supports the Hewlett Packard HP DeskJet 5650 (color inkjet), HP LaserJet 1300
(black and white printer) and HP Color LaserJet 2550L. New report printer capability will be
added as replacement models become available. Support of new printers may require a software
update if the new printers require a new print driver. Print drivers cannot be installed without a
software upgrade.
There are no printer control settings associated with the report printers.
NOTE Connect the HP 1300 external report printer to the USB 2.0 connector on the back of
the DVD drive. If connected to a USB connector on the AVIO (USB 1.1), the printer
may not be recognized.

Device
The system video characteristics are optimized for use with 5:4 aspect ratio LCD panels. If an
external monitor or other device is connected to the EXT monitor output (15-pin VGA connec-
tor), it should provide SXGA (1280 x 1024) resolution to ensure correct image aspect ratio is
displayed.

Preparation
➤ To prepare for an on-site network configuration visit
1. Contact the Network Administrator to obtain network configuration information.
2. Have the Network Administrator fill out the Connectivity Worksheet (Tab le 5 -7 ) prior to
installation..
3. Determine if the iE33 system is to be connected to an Xcelera system.
