Channel Walk
Test
The channel walk test is used to determine if image drop-out is caused by noise or by receive or
transmit functions of individual channels and boards. The channel walk test is also used to deter-
mine if a problem is caused by a transducer or the system.
➤ To peform the channel walk test
1. Connect and initialize a linear transducer on any port.
2. Set the system parameters as indicated in Ta bl e 9 -5 .
