to a disassembly/assembly procedure.

movement (direction, rotation), or to point to a specific area (details, breakdowns).
Parts Table Definitions
Located On This column lists all of the figures on which the part is found.
Part Number This column lists the part number for an item. Use this number when ordering
parts from Philips Ultrasound. If a table is referenced in this column, the part number is on that
table. Cable part numbers may be in Section 11, “Cabling”.
Part Description The name or common description of the item is listed here. Where appro-
priate, the description column also includes size, tolerance, type or model, and material data for
the part. Items in Table 14-1 and Table 14-2 are alphabetized by this column. Items in Table 14-3
are alphabetized by OEM Description.
Attaching parts must be ordered separately. They are not provided with the assembly, subassem-
bly, or component being attached.
Notes/Reference Manufacturer's part numbers, sometimes alternate part numbers, special
applications, and other information pertaining to a specific part are listed in the Notes/Reference
column. For top assemblies containing many replaceable parts, the applicable figure or table for
further breakdown of parts is listed here.
