To create a copy of the Control Plane Policing (CoPP) best practice policy, use the copp clone profile command.
copp copy profile {lenient| moderate| strict} {prefix| suffix} string
Syntax Description
Specifies the lenient profile.lenient
Specifies the moderate profile.moderate
Specifies the strict profile.strict
Specifies a prefix for the cloned policy.prefix
Specifies a suffix for the cloned policy.suffix
Prefix or suffix string. The suffix or prefix can be any
alphanumeric string up to 20 characters.

Usage Guidelines
When you use the copp copy profile command, CoPP renames all class maps and policy maps with the specified
prefix or suffix.
This command does not require a license.
