Logarithmic staircase sweep
A logarithmic staircase sweep is similar to a linear staircase sweep. The only difference is that the
steps are scaled logarithmically.
The steps in a logarithmic staircase sweep increase or decrease geometrically, beginning with a start
voltage or current and ending with a stop voltage or current. The figure below shows an increasing
logarithmic staircase sweep.
