Print Engine Test Procedures
The print engine diagnostic test procedures are divided into three major groups:
Sensor Tests, Motor Tests, ana NVM Settings.
Sensor Tests
The following procedures test each print engine sensor using Service Diagnostics.
This illustration depicts the MFP; the sensors in the SFP are the same and in the
same locations.
Manual Feed Sensor
1. Enter Service Diagnostics (page 4-8).
2. Run the Manual Feed Sensor test: Engine Diag > Sensor Test > Manual Feed
Sensor.
3. Slide a sheet of paper in and out of the Manual Feed slot.
