General Troubleshooting
Registration Sensor
Caution
Cover the Imaging Unit to prevent light exposure.
1. Enter Service Diagnostics (page 4-8).
2. Remove Tray 1.
3. Open the Front Cover.
4. Lower the Transfer Belt.
5. Remove the Imaging Unit (page 8-7)
6. Run the Registration Sensor test: Engine Diag > Sensor Test > Regi Sensor.
7. Operate the actuator while checking the Control Panel display.
Note
Press Cancel to stop the test.
