DRIVE LINE
1. Stop the machine on a level ground.
2. Charge brakes to specified pressure.
3. Warm up engine to 70°C, transmission
oil to 80 - 95°C and hydraulic oil to 40 - 70°C.
4. Apply parking brake.
5. Place gear shift lever in the 1st gear.
6. Slowly increase engine speed to 1500 rpm.
If the truck starts to move at 1500 rpm. or
below, adjust the parking brake.
The park brake is able to keep a fully loaded truck
parked at a inclination 32% (19°) when correctly
adjusted.
Testing of parking brake
Over-adjustment may result in dragging of the brake.
