HYDRAULIC
Check oil level in hydraulic tank.
If necessar
y refill with Shell Tellus T46, or equivalent. (For fluid type and specifications, refer to
the DOOSAN Oper
ating & Maintenance Manual Chapter 6)
Check level glass on the hydraulic tank.
Hydr
aulic oil is preferred, but ATF oil or engine oil can be used.
(Ref
. Operators Manual, Chapter 6 - Lubricants, and Chapter 7 - Maintenance)
Star
t engine, and let it run until hydraulic oil temperature exceeds 40
o
C.
Oil temper
ature increases faster by tilting dumper body several times, and/or frequently
mo
ving steering wheel from lock to lock.
Dur
ing warm-up check for any leaks in the hydraulic system.
An
y leaks must be repaired before proceeding the warm-up.
After w
arm-up, re-check hydraulic oil level, and perform an operational
chec
k of all functions as follows:
Check 1
Steering function.
T
urn steering wheel from side to side, lock to lock, engine speed
720 r
pm. (low idle). Count the number of turns. Approx. 5 turns
is acceptab
le.
Open the bonnet and connect pressure gauge to the quic
k
connector at the left side of the engine
.
Check 2
Steering pressure
.
Engine at 2000 r
pm, hold steering wheel towards either end lock
position.
Hydraulic pressure: 210 bar±5.
Adjusting procedure
.
Check 3
Tilting pressure
, lowering.
Engine at 720 r
pm, lower dumper body.
Lo
wering time should be approx. 18 sec. / 10 sec. at max rpm
Hydr
aulic pressure: 100 bar ± 5.
