DISASSEMBLY New Differential (mod no. 8x0660)
Preload compression spring by means of the press and
disengage the retaining ring.
Then pull the sliding sleeve out of differential cover and
remove the releasing compression springs.
Remove single parts.
1 = Disk
2 = Pressure piece
3 = Cage
4 = Lever (15x)
5 = Disk carrier
6 = Disk package
Loosen hexagon screws and remove the releasing
disk.
Remove thrust washer and axle bevel gear from
differential housing.
