Then extend once more and close it.
Lay down on it’s sides, knocking aroud the
cylinder to release the treads. Release the lock-
screw from the cover nut.
Open it using the cylindrical nut tool (check the
right diameter).
Cylinder diameter: Ø150 mm
Replace the sealing damaged.

Lock-screw
Mount the rod and the cover nut. Tighten the
cover nut until it touches the cylinder body.
Smoothly, knock with a nylon hammer to finish
the tighten.
Apply Loctite 638 and tight the lock-screw back
on the cover nut.
At full extension of the cylinder (935 mm), add
3.8 liters of oil to the cylinder either by pouring
which will be slow, or by low pressure pumping
of the measured amount of oil 68. (For fluid type
and specifications, refer to the DOOSAN Oper-
ating & Maintenance Manual Chapter 6)
Close the rod to 640 mm to eject all air and
excess of oil.
Close off the oil ports and add nitrogen to fully
extend the cylinder.
Continue to add nitrogen until the it reacher cor-
rect pressure on each side.
LHS: 38 bar RHS: 41 bar
Fit all covers then the cylinder is ready to be
reassembly.

Put 7 turns of thread tape anticlockwise on each plug
before assembly
