This chapter gives you an overview of the Summary tab of the DS3000 Storage Manager.

How to get, view, and save a profile
Chapter 7, “Administration - Enterprise” on page 117 describes how to start managing a
system from the Enterprise Window. If you select to manage a specific storage subsystem (by
double-clicking it), firstly the IBM DS3000 Storage Manager Subsystem Management Window
will open, along with the Initial Setup Task pop up window (Figure 9-1). With this task you can
perform a quick basic installation, as described in 4.4, “Initial Setup Tasks wizard” on page 60.
