13.1.2 Gather Support Information
This wizard gathers all storage subsystem support information including profile and event log
information and stores it to a *.zip file. IBM technical support will typically request this file for
analysis.
Gather Support Information
1. Click Gather Support Information Link (Figure 13-1 on page 286) to display the initial
window, Figure 13-9.

2. Enter a directory and file name directly, or click Browse to select a name and location to
store the file (Figure 13-10).

3. Click Start and the system will collect all the data and store it to the selected location
(Figure 13-11 on page 293). This may take about one minute.
