RS-232 Baud Rate
This feature selects the baud rate required for sending and receiving data.
NOTE
Single cable interfaces are limited to Baud Rate
selections up to 19200. They cannot communicate
at Baud Rates of 38400 and up.
To specify the RS-232 Baud Rate:
1. Scan the Enter/Exit Programming Mode bar code.
2. Scan the desired baud rate from the bar codes below and on the immediately following
pages. Y
ou’ll need to cover any unused bar codes on this and the facing page to ensure that
the scanner reads only the bar code you intend to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the
Enter/Exit Programming Mode bar
code.
