Keyboard Wedge Quiet Interval
This setting specifies the amount of time to monitor for keyboard activity before breaking the
keyboard connection.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the Enter/Exit Programming Mode bar code.
2. Scan the bar code,
Keyboard Wedge Quiet Interval. You’ll need to cover any unused bar
codes on this and the facing page to ensure that the scanner reads only the bar code you
intend to scan.
3. Scan the appropriate digits from the
Keypad in Appendix C that represent the desired
time interval. The selectable range is 001-100, which is the
interval in 10-millisecond
increments. Pad all single and double digit numbers with leading zeroes to yield a three-
digit entry (001-100).
Examples:
001 = 10ms
005 = 50ms
040 = 400ms
100 = 1,000ms (1 second)
4. The scanner will automatically exit Programming M
ode when the appropriate amount of
digits have been scanned
