Test Mode
Use this feature to place the scanner into a testing, or “demo” mode. This special mode
disables the scanner interface, meaning that bar code data is not sent out to the host via the
scanner interface. This allows the bar code to be scanned continuously without requiring a
response from the POS terminal.
Enable Test Mode — The scanner will scan labels and beep without sending data.
Disable Test Mode — The scanner will return to the original configuration before Test Mode
was entered.
NOTE
DO NOT scan the Enter/Exit Programming Mode bar code before and after
scanning the bar codes on this page.
