Installing the Optional TDR
Depending upon the model (see Figure 8), steps to install will vary slightly.
1. [Long Scanner/Scale models ONLY] After disconnecting power, remove the two bolts
that
secure the Back Flange Assembly (
Figure 9, #1) to the Scanner/Scale, then slide the
assembly down and away from the unit. Set the assembly and its bolts aside for lat
er rein-
stallation.
2. Determine the corner of the scanner where you desire the TDR to be installed. It must
r
eside in the left hand or right hand corner just behind the scanner’s bonnet. Carefully
push upwards on that plastic Corner Piece to disengage it from the scanner (
Figure 9, #2).
3. Gently slide the Filler Tab flatwise from the Corner Piece (
Figure 9, #3). This will leave
an opening which mates with the neck of the TDR.
4. Orient the TDR as shown (
Figure 9, #4).
5. Mate the Corner Piece with the TDR (
Figure 9, #5).
