46XX Maximum Label Slice Length
This feature specifies the maximum allowable length of host transmitted data in each sdlc frame.
NOTE
This setting only applies when 46XX Label Slicing Control is enabled.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the Enter/Exit Programming Mode bar code.
2. Scan the bar code,
Set 46XX Maximum Label Slice Length. You’ll need to cover any
unused bar codes on this and the facing page to ensure that the scanner reads only the bar
code y
ou intend to scan.
3. Scan the appropriate digits from the keypad in
Appendix C that represent the desired
length setting. The selectable range is 001-246 (
a setting of 000 indicates no length limita-
tion). Pad all single and double digit numbers with leading zeroes to yield a three-digit
e
ntry (001-246).
4. Complete the programming sequence by scanning
the ENTER/EXIT Programming
Mode bar code
