Pre-assemble Differential (Figure 271 ... 283)
Insert thrust washer, with the chamfer on the outer diameter show-
ing downward, into the differential housing.
Introduce side gear until both inner plates are accommodated.
Introduce thrust ring.
Install plate pack A, starting with one outer plate.
Pay attention to the Note, Figure 269 Previous Page!
Lubricate the differential components according
to ZF-List of lubricants TE-ML 05 (with LS-Addi-
tive) !
