COMMODE
Definition Communication Mode
Type Variable (R/W)
Description Gets/sets the fieldbus communication mode.
COMMODE 1 is applicable only for CAN and EtherCAT drives.
Syntax COMMODE <value>
Firmware 1.0.6
Drive status Disabled
Range 0 = Serial RS232/USB communication enabled. CANopen
communication disabled. Drive can be software enabled
at power-up (SWENMODE).
1 = For CAN drive only. CANopen communication is enabled.
Serial RS232/USB communication can be used as a
utility for monitoring and changing parameters with
limited functionality.
Default value 0 = for analog drive
1 = for CAN drive
