Procedure
Proceed as follows to congure communication with the OM-IIoT in the edge device:
1. Create a new drive in the Drive System Framework.
2. Set the following:
– Name of the drive
– IP address of the OM-IIoT
– Product name
The settings must match the corresponding settings in the web server.
3. Set the port number and the station name.
The settings must match the corresponding settings in the web server.
If several OM-IIoTs are connected to the same edge device, then each OM-IIot must have a
unique port number.
4. Activate the "Start" button to start communications.
