We recommend the following two measures to ensure compliance with EMC standards when using
an external braking resistor on the converter with the frame size FSD1, FSD2 and FSE:
1. Selection of a suitable EMC toroidal core, e.g. Magnetec, type: M-612-02, or equivalent
2. Selection of suitable and proper securing of the EMC toroidal core
Securing the EMC toroidal core is not shown in the 󹪝gure above.
The user is responsible for the selection and attachment of the EMC toroidal core according to 1 and
2.
