Siemens SINAMICS G220 - Loading Certificates of License (Ecol) into the File Directory of the Operating Unit

Procedure
Proceed as follows to start using blocked functions again:
1. Reinsert the memory card into the converter.
2. Perform a restart.
3. Check the license status on the license overview page.
14.14.8 Loading certi󹪝cates of license (eCoL) into the 󹪝le directory of the operating
unit
Overview
Use this function to back up the certi󹪝cates of license (eCoL) contained on the memory card to
your operating unit.
Requirement
• The memory card contains certi󹪝cates of license.
Procedure
1. Click on the "Save eCoL archive" button.
2. Select directory KEYS/SINAMICS in your operating unit and then con󹪝rm the selection.
Result
The license certi󹪝cates are stored in the KEYS/SINAMICS directory of your operating unit.
