Overview
To protect the motor against overtemperature, the converter can evaluate a temperature switch,
such as a bimetal switch.
Description of function
The converter interprets a resistance ≥100Ω as an open bimetallic switch and responds
according to the setting for p0610.

Overview
To protect the motor against overtemperature, the converter can evaluate a PTC sensor.
Description of function
The converter interprets the resistance as follows:
• Resistance>1650Ω: Overtemperature
The converter responds according to the setting for p0610.
• Resistance<20Ω: Short-circuit
The converter responds with alarm A07015.
If the alarm is present for longer than 100 milliseconds, the converter shuts down with fault
F07016.
