14.10.6 Current setpoint lter
Overview
A current setpoint lter suppresses critical frequency components and thereby prevents the
excitation of oscillations by the speed controller. A current setpoint lter therefore increases the
achievable machine dynamics in critical applications.
Requirement
The Dynamic Drive Control operating mode or the closed-loop speed control mode is selected.
Description of function
The converter has 2 current setpoint lters connected in series. The following choices are
available for each current setpoint lter:

With the correct adjustment, it is possible to achieve a bandstop or a low-pass with reduction.
Depending on p1699, changed lter settings take eect at dierent times:
• p1699=0
The changed settings take eect immediately.
• p1699=1
The changed settings do not take eect until p1699=0.
