Requirement
Requirements:
• An unencrypted backup 󹪝le of the converter is available on the operating unit.
• Con󹪝gured drive password:
– You know the originally con󹪝gured drive password with which the drive data in the
backup 󹪝le was encrypted.
– You know the currently con󹪝gured drive password.
Is only applicable if the currently con󹪝gured drive password deviates from the originally
con󹪝gured drive password, with which the drive data in the backup 󹪝le was encrypted.
• You have the rights required for active user management (UMAC):
– "Create backup or load drive data to Startdrive"
– If Safety Integrated is contained in the backup 󹪝le, the "Edit Safety Integrated application"
right is required.
Procedure
To restore the drive data for the converter, proceed as follows:
1. Call the "Backup and restore" menu.
2. Navigate to the "Restore drive data from backup 󹪝le" area.
3. Use the "Click to select 󹪝le, or drag and drop 󹪝le here" button to select the backup 󹪝le.
