14.10.4.5 Slip compensation
Overview
Slip compensation keeps the speed of an induction motor as constant as possible, regardless of
the load on the motor.
Description of function
When the load torque M increases from M1 to M2, slip compensation increases the setpoint
frequency. As a result, the motor speed remains largely constant.
When the load torque M returns to M1, slip compensation reduces the setpoint frequency
accordingly.
Setting the parameter p1351>0 switches on slip compensation p1335=100%.
