Theory of Operation
Exit Clutch
The Exit Clutch transmits drive energy from the Main Motor to the Exit
Roller in the Fuser. When Duplex mode is in use, the Exit Clutch stops.
The Exit Roller is driven by the Duplex Motor.
Drive Assembly
The Drive Assembly provides drive energy for Tray 1 (MPT), Tray 2, and
Registration. The Tray 2 Motor is part of the Drive Assembly.
