CHAPTER68 Configuration Parameters Reference
Mediant 1000 Gateway & E-SBC | User's Manual
Parameter Description
â– If the device is intentionally installed with
only one Power Supply module, then make
sure that the parameter is set to [1];
otherwise, an alarm will be raised.
[GroundKeyDetection] Defines loop- or ground-start signaling for all the
device's FXS and FXO ports.
â– [0] = (Default) Loop-start signaling
â– [1] = Ground-start signaling
Note:
â– For the parameter to take effect, a device
reset is required.
â– To configure the signaling method per port
and for a detailed description of this feature,
see Configuring Ground- or Loop-Start
Signaling per Analog Port.
'Port Ground Start'
[GroundKeyDetection_x]
The table defines loop- or ground-start signaling
per analog (FXS or FXO) port.
For the ini file parameter, the x denotes the port
number, where 0 represents Port I. For example,
GroundKeyDetection_0 = 1
GroundKeyDetection_1 = 0
GroundKeyDetection_2 = 0
â– [0] Disable = (Default) Port uses loop-start
signaling.
â– [1] Enable = Port uses ground-start
signaling.
For more information, see Configuring Ground-
or Loop-Start Signaling per Analog Port.
Note:
â– For the parameter to take effect, a device
reset is required.
â– To configure the same signaling method for
all ports, use the ini file parameter
GroundKeyDetection.
[EnableAutoRAITransmitBER] Enables the device to send a remote alarm
indication (RAI) when the bit error rate (BER) is
greater than 0.001.
â– [0] = Disable (default)
â– [1] = Enable
'Ignore BRI LOS Alarm'
ignore-bri-los-alarm
[IgnoreBRILOSAlarm]
Enables the device to ignore LOS alarms
received from the BRI user-side trunk and
attempts to make a call (relevant for IP-to-Tel
calls).
â– [0] Disable
