Mediant 8000
After you complete the Mediant 8000 software installation and/or basic configuration,
see 'Connecting the Media Gateway to the IP Network' on page 178 for detailed
instructions on how to perform the advanced IP network configuration (e.g. define
interface separation and/or VLAN tagging). As part of this advanced configuration, you
may be required to re-connect Ethernet cables from the external Layer 3 switchers or
routers to different ES board ports. See 'Ethernet ports allocation on ES boards' on
page 217 for details.
