13.2.4 ES-2 RTM Rear Transition Module

The ES-2/RTM (Rear Transition Module) is inserted in the rear Mediant 8000 chassis

slots behind the corresponding ES-2 Ethernet Switch boards. It provides

10/100/1000Base-T ports that are used for connecting the Mediant 8000 chassis to

the external Ethernet equipment.
